I CAN’T WAIT TO TRY THIS BUT I DO HAVE A QUESTION.
DO YOU HAVE SAMPLES OR SMALL BAGS JUST TO TRY IT?
AND ALSO HOW MANY CALORIES IS THIS? DO YOU ADD CREAM OR SUGAR?
    THANK YOU,
    BRENDA

I have been enjoying Choffy, and here is what I do to make my cup a “Cho” instead of Jo. (I know poor humor.) I use about an 1/8 cup of pets milk with the remaining ingredient being water in a large coffee mug, and then sprinkle cinnamon on top. This combo tastes very good without sugar at least to me.

    Brenda,

Distributors have sample bags they can hand out, but they are not for general sales. As for calories, there are only 20 calories per 8oz. serving.

You can see all the nutritional facts at http://www.drinkchoffy.com/about

    Lou Ann,

Thank so much for your support. We love the idea of condensed milk, water and cinnamon. We will try it out here!

    Thanks to you both,

    Team Choffy

It sounds interesting. I recently tried a chocolate ‘tea’- didn’t much care for it, is your beverage similar to a tea? Very interested in trying some. Do you only serve it in retail establishments or do you sell it for home consumption too? We live on Guam (United States Territory with U.S. Postal Service), how can I get some? Thank you, Sammie Medina

    Sammie,

Choffy is more similar to coffee in consistency then tea. However if made too thin, it could take on a tea-like appearance and flavor. We recommend brewing it for a more robust flavor.

    1) What is the ORAC score per gram wt?

    2) Is it net alkaline, or acidic - what is the PH?

    3) Why is it not a powder?

    4) Do you grind up the pod, also, to make the product (ie - the hard outside shell of the cacao bean)?

    5) What is in the product besides cacao?

    6) Why so complicated - very expensive product, it you have to “brew” it, rather than just stir it in.

    Thank you.

    Sandy,

    1. ORAC score is over 8500 IU per 8 oz.

    2. I am not sure of the PH off hand. I put in the question to our Director of Product Development and will follow up when I have that answer. Thanks.

    3. It is the brewing that gives it the great rich flavor.

    4. Sorry, but the actual production of Choffy is something that we take very seriously, and keep confidential.

    5. Choffy is 100% organic cacão. Frankly, it doesn’t need anything else.

    6. As we mentioned in question 3, it is the brewing that gives Choffy the distinct and rich flavor. Choffy is brewed chocolate. It is fundamental to what Choffy is.

Thanks for your interest in Choffy.
