We are proud to help kick off the National Lacrosse League’s 2009 season by sponsoring our friends (and Choffy fans) the Western Conference Champion’s the Portland Lumberjax.
The Lumberjax believe in giving to the community. They participate in everything from local toy drives to promoting healthy lifestyles in elementary schools all over the area. The are also tremendous advocates for the exploding sport of lacrosse on the west coast. Obviously we are passionate about healthy living. The idea for Choffy came as a result of wanting to help people be healthy. But some might not know the athlectic backgrounds among the executive team. We have a hockey player and former contender on the Olympic skeleton luge team, we have a highly accomplished competitive martial artist, and a collegiate soccer player. Sports remains an important part of our lives. We love lacrosse and hope that we can help its growth across the nation, particularly out west.
We are proud to support the Jax this season and will keep giving updates on how and when we will be working with them. We wish them the best in 2009 and will be watching from our seats in section 113. Anyone in the Portland Oregon area, come join us in the Lumberyard.
