We love the way Choffy tastes. Asking us to say which estate we like better (Ecuadorian, Ivory Coast or Nicaraguan) is like choosing between your children. Each is unique, and we love them all. But Choffy has much to offer beyond flavor alone. It is truly good for you.
Choffy is made from 100% organic cacão beans (also known as cocoa beans), roasted to perfection. All the antioxidant value, mineral benefits, neurotransmitter rejuvenating properties and overall health-giving qualities are found naturally in cacão beans. No sugar, no dairy, no chemicals. Just one ingredient: cacão.
Cacão Beans Are Extraordinarily Nutritious
Theobromine: This gentle yet long lasting stimulant provides you with a healthy energy lift by dilating the cardiovascular system making the heart’s job easier. Theobromine does not affect the nervous system therefore delivers energy without a crash or the other negative effects of caffiene.
Antioxidants: By weight, cacão contains the highest concentration of antioxidants of any food in the world, more than red wine, blueberries, açai, pomegranates, and goji berries combined. Choffy acts as a super-detoxifier, helping your body rid itself of the toxins that tax your system
Magnesium: Cacão appears to be the best source of magnesium of any food. Magnesium is one of the great alkaline minerals, helping to support the heart, brain, and digestive system. In addition, Magnesium balances brain chemistry and builds strong bones.
Iron: Cacão contains a significant amount of iron per serving. Iron, a critical mineral in nutrition, is part of the oxygen carrying protein called hemoglobin that keeps our blood healthy.
We don’t believe that Choffy will cure cancer, or that you will suddenly gain 78% more effectiveness in your day, but we firmly stand by fact that Choffy is truly good for you. It is the reason we built this company, “to champion healthy living and wellness in body, mind and spirit for people everywhere.”

I don’t believe that your comment on theobromine is entirely accurate. It does affect the central nervous system, just to a lesser degree than caffeine, which is a related alkaloid. It does impact the heart more, increasing heart rate, but apparently also dilates blood vessels, increasing blood flow and reducing blood pressure.
Looking forward to trying your product!!
Patrick,
Thank you very much for your comment. We love talking about the health benefits of Choffy. To address your comment, according to most studies theobromine has little to no effect on the Central Nervous System. However theobromine does affect the Peripheral Nervous System. This is why it does not make you jittery and why it is not addictive. Some studies suggest that theobromine increases heart rate while others postulate that it lowers heart rate. One thing they all say is that it dilates smooth muscle which is found in the heart, arteries and lungs. It causes the heart to be more efficient by increasing the chamber size in the heart and the arteries which increases flow rate. This also means that more blood going in and out of the lungs will be better oxygenated due to the dilated bronchii.
Please let us know what you think after you try it. We would love to hear.
Thanks,
The Choffy Team

Alright, now I’m interested. As a former coffee lover, I’d like to try choffy, but live in Canada. Where up here can I get some? Also, can beans be purchased, ground at home and brewed a’ la coffee? Or do you have to go to a Choffy House. I look forward to a reply. Thanks and have a great day!
Jason,
Thanks for your comment. Where are you in the great white north? We are not able to sell Choffy internationally at this time, but depending on where you are, might have someone in the states that can get some to you. We hope that we will be able to sell directly to Canada soon.
As for your second question, our bags of Choffy are roasted and ground specifically for your home brewing, and is brewed in any of the ways that you might brew coffee.
We hope you get a chance to try some!

I heard a story about a lady that lived to be 100 years old. When asked what she attributed to her longevity, she said that she ate about 1lb. of chocolate a week (depending on the type you purchase, however, this can get expensive!). That’s about 2oz. per day! Not that much really. Just 1oz. in the morning and 1oz. in the evening. And from what your studies say above (I’d like to see more sources cited), it sounds like a good practice. However, stay away from the milk chocolate. Choffy and dark chocolate is the way to go. I’ll be trying some Choffy soon! It sounds FANTASTIC!
